Oshogatsu: Second General Meeting

Oshogatsu translates to New Years in Japanese and at our event we had mochi and ikebana (the art of floral decoration) making demonstrations in addition to serving tea and mochi! Both mochi and ikebana are traditional elements of how new years is celebrated in Japan, so it was a great chance for people to emerse themselves in the Japanese culture

This year, 2014-2015, our Oshogatsu was combined with our Second General Meeting so that incoming Spring semester students had a chance to get to know more about the BUJSA family!

Also as a special treat this year, many of our eBoard members showcased their talents and there were a few performances to end the event!
